My work reflects my great admiration of our world’s natural beauty. The supernatural is often intertwined with the natural, as I combine the surrounding beauty with the inner beauty in vibrant colour. Even my most abstract paintings usually end up resembling some part of our world, although not always intentionally. I express my vision of the surrounding land and waterscapes in minimal detail and maximum texture in a modern-abstract style.As I paint I let God inspire and lead me. Very few of my pieces are planned, I like to start with a colour in mind and see where it takes me. Many of my pieces have a prophetic or spiritual meaning that is revealed only after finishing.
